I'm sorry, I actually don't get what you mean. Can you elaborate more or give examples? I didn't know there were whistle songs at all haha

I Wanna Go, Pumped Up Kicks, Moves Like Jagger, It Girl, I Like How It Feels, and another one I can't remember... I'm not saying Whistle is a bad song, I'm just personally over the use of whistling in songs.

I get it. I just never made the connection. I am not a Flo Rida fan but there is an acoustic sound to the Whistle song that makes me happy. I hope pop music goes more real instruments and less made up noises!

Bruno Mars had a song with whistling in it, too.

Well I'm glad he at least waited until the other whistling songs faded out! It was just funny to turn on the radio and it was song after song with whistling lol.

Oh man lol... But I remember the 6th one I was talking about. Good Life! They were seriously all on the radio at the same time. Crazy stuff.

I Wanna Go ****s on all other whistling songs.

I used to be so obssessed with that song, I was almost going to become a britney stan.

Anyways, she had such AMAZING momentum with HIAM, TTWE, and IWG....what happened with Criminal :flop:

Criminal is a good song. Just very common for later singles to underperform. Excitement for the era had worn off with the public.

I had expected to not do as well the previous singles, but I was surprised at its horrible chart performance.

Oh well, at least the first 3 singles made Femme Fetale memorable :ohwell:

Same here. I thought maybe top 30, but when it couldn't even make top 50 :eww: Even still... It was one of her most successful eras (single wise) in a very long time.

That's cuz she's transitioning into a singles artist.

omg, Good Life  just OneRepublic in general :legend: I found it amazing that the song came out in 2009 and it peaked in 2011 :P

anyway, Call Me Maybe is up to #3 on iTunes. do you guys think it's peaking or does it have a chance to climb higher?

I think I'm stanning for Good Life as the best whistle song too :P Actually, I love the whole album.

As for Call Me Maybe, it may bypass Payphone for #2, but #1 looks like it will belong to Gotye for awhile.

Adele is #2 on iTunes :deadbanana:

When will her reign be over? I'm so over her tbh

Have her sales even declined a bit?
