600k+? :laughga: Are you guys serious? :laughga: You guys have to keep in mind that sales have declined a lot since late 2014, when the streaming era began. They've declined 13.6% this year alone. There's no way she's going to do anything above 200k SPS; we're not in 2009-2013.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                                                           My Prediction

      #11 or lower                     #6-#10                           #2-#5                               #1

115k pure; 140k SPS / 125k pure; 155k SPS / 140k pure; 175k SPS / 150k pure; 190k SPS

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The numbers above the sales are the peaks of the lead single. I think the 3rd will happen.

Yes, the Samsung deal for Rihanna meant that people could download them digitally on any device

My prediction is 125k pure sales; 165k SPS.

Maybe 140k pure sales; 180k SPS if she's lucky.

True. Streaming is taking off right now properly. In Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland it's more than 70% of the whole market so there's a big deal but in the rest of the world streaming's percentage is about 20 to 45% so it's taking off now even in America.

Spoiler

Also, she writes all her own material, her own melodies, likes to make everything from scratch and see it through to the end. She's the (outside of the people I know in my real life) the strongest person I've ever seen.

I think you're all predicting way too low.

The GP is back on good terms with Gaga, I've seen even people in their 50s and 60s who don't like pop music, asking me if I know if anything is coming out soon, and my ten year old sister's friends asking me "where can I get LG5" as if it's the real name for the album lmao.

If the music hits with the general public again, you're looking at another million at the most in her first week. If not, I'm not sure. She's a superstar, although I'm not at all pressed if her creativity "blocks" the commercial aspect of it all. Some part of me believes that she did that deliberately with ARTPOP as a way of slowing down the hamster wheel, taking a breather, and allowing herself to be human in front of people. And for the pressed fans who want her to be in costume even behind the curtains, I'm afraid that you've missed out on a real connection. Gaga taking off the wigs and hats and showing us her raw side is the true connection, it shows her true desire to have her fans know her and vice versa. For all the fans who flew during ARTPOP, Gaga knew you would, she said you would, and nobody would want "fans" like that anyway. She was held to such a high standard over anyone else, even Adele found it easier.

There was too much expectation for one human being to be held to. And, like the old school rebel she is, she threw everything "commercial" out the window, spat in pop music's face, raised her middle finger to the label, stayed true to who she was even though it split her relationship with Troy, and all for the true monsters. Troy clearly wasn't a true friend. And even when everyone turned their back on her, as she predicted, when all the press was hungry for the fall of a great blonde, as she predicted, she still sang, still toured, and still cried with her fans at shows. That takes real integrity and real balls. After so much betrayal, I would have convinced myself that I have no fans at all and retired from music altogether. and even though that couldn't be farther from the truth, it's how I would have felt. I really don't know how she does it. She's stronger than all those flop fans put together.
