Now, that she slightly faded away from the music, I think both LG5 and LG6 have to be pop album (Not strictly pop, I mean dance/solo etc.).

It's confirmed that they'll start working on C2C sequel in 2017.  LG5 will put her again in the spotlight and then she'll fade away again with a jazz album :neyde:

And let's face it, C3C won't be as half successful as C2C.

So, Is a jazz album a smart move after LG5?

In my opinion , NO, she needs two solo/dance albums.. Like, ''here I am, back again'' with LG5, and then ''The Gaga reign is not stopping" with LG6....

Long story short:

''I'm torn. If LG5 becomes a success she should go for LG6 while she's on top kinda like TFM and BTW. '' - @Bellatrix

It really depends on how the era plays through.

If the era is HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL (a la the 1989 era), she will be extremely overexposed, so if she does jazz, the exposure will lower, so news about her will be more tolerable.

If the era is MODERATELY SUCCESSFUL (a la the ARTPOP era), then I think she will be able to handle a jazz album too, cos the GP's attention span for her will just remain constant.

If the era's a flop, well then, you know. :emma:

Yes. If the GP likes LG5 then C3C will get talked about and praised a lot more (compared to C2C).

Imo, it wont be even recognized.

Yes, because Gaga loves jazz and it makes her happy.

I don't know but I'm tired of this idea. I don't want her to go there again. C2C was great, I loved it, but it's done. I don't understand why we should go there again. In terms of side projects I prefer her to do more acting than singing jazz covers.

But I don't know if it's a smart move or not. C2C apparently made Gaga very happy and it freed her. But does she need more of that? Wouldn't it be more interesting if she tried something else that's new and interesting?

As a fan, I feel like it won't be that fun to watch another jazz era.

I'm torn. If LG5 becomes a success she should go for LG6 while she's on top kinda like TFM and BTW.

But if another jazz album makes her happy then that's what she should do, even if I'm personally not that into her cover stuff.

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?
