"Gaga is a man"

Imagine that Gaga were actually a hermaphrodite (is that an offensive term? Is there a better word?), how do you think this would have affected her career and artistry and everything that followed those rumors? Would she become hated and irrelevant due to america's ignorance? Would she become bigger, because no other pop star had the same anatomy? What's your opinion :^)

What is happening right now? Lina Morgana, Lady Gaga is a man... is this 2009? :poot: On topic, there are probably people who still believe it, so I don't think it would have changed anything. Or maybe it would have changed everything. We'll never know. Life is mysterious.

Idk, I think she wouldn't have appealed to as much people because unfortunately many people in America are still stuck in the past. But maybe people wouldn't supported her even more. Tbh it depends on when the rumors came out. I think if it happened like it actually happened, she would've ended

REALITY

Unfortunately, I think she'd would have received a lot more negativity—even more than she really already has :interestinga:

Personally, I think your sex/sexual orientation/gender identity/ race/ religion/ etc. shouldn't affect how your music or artistry is—and by that, I'm saying that even if she was intersex, there shouldn't be any sort of negative stigma associated with that, or her art.

It would however, be revolutionary in the music industry, and be even more of a reason why she's such a huge inspiration.

This rumor was beyond iconic.

Thank you to the falling star who dragged her and started it all :staymad::fthis:

BUT, I feel anyone- her especially- with that artistic passionate drive would have still found a way to be a household name, no?

:air: I STILL REMEMBER, IN 2014 WHEN GAGA&TONY WERE PERFORMING WINTER WONDERLAND, AROUND CHRISTMAS, AND THE REPORTER INTRODUCED GAGA&TONY AND HE SAID "SEE IF YOU CAN TELL WHICH ONE'S WHICH".

EDOT : I can't find the video, i'm not sure if it was that particular performance. :air:

Bad Romance would still be a hit, but she'd be a one hit wonder fascination. Fame can be cruel and mocking and I think that more of that would have happened and have been behind her quick and trendy fame.

Yeah people who still think that is the case is extremely disheartening that they are so ignorant about the truth. But in my opinion from the school and the community I come from people would be weirded out about that. I know that for a fact since I am gender fluid, and because of my fluidity people get confused about my gender and don't know whether I'm male or female, and they make fun of me just because it's something I cannot help

It's sad that so many children are believing that hating gay/trans people is a good way of living life. I think there have definitely been improvements because back 30+ years ago being trans was almost an outlaw. Overall, I noticed back in 2009 when Gaga started being treated as a trans, people (the old gaga fans) grew away from her. I remember at the beginning of her career everyone at my school loved her, but it was a shame that some fool started spreading those trans rumors around the press. Well she definitely proved them wrong! I've seen Gaga naked so many times I'm absolutely 100% sure there is no penis where she came from.

Hmm... If she was intersex and was open about it, maybe the conversation on intersex, trans issues, and gender in the public sphere could've been started and we'd be further along by now :emma:

Other than that, she might not have gotten as famous, I'm really not sure
