Do you think she will? How would you feel if she got critical acclaim but not a big hit single? Of course she could score both, but I think it's nice to just try and make great music, without attempting to be trendy and get a hit.

Well, I mean, Gaga already sort of does that. Of course, her team and the label want hits. That just means more money for them, but Gaga has always been having a more intelligent and artistic approach to her music, especially with the past two eras—not including C2C. 

Of course, why not strive for both, but I think she already is. :hor:

I mean, you could argue that in order for a song to be remembered--and as a result become timeless--it has to be a hit to some extent.
