It's fair to say, that in the long run, whatever album he makes with Gaga wont be as profitable, critically acclaimed, or universally praised as Back To Black. He doesn't need the checks.

Impossible. It could be just as good in terms of the quality of the music, but it will never be regarded as highly as Back To Black.

Back To Black is the crown jewel of an iconic member of the 27 club. LG5 wont touch it.

what's wrong with that? she's working with production legends... tame impala, mark ronson, bloodpop is relatively new but has produced nothing but quality...

these people have acclaimed and iconic records that have made their mark in pop culture and music history... Gaga is our legend... she brings the best in everyone... why wouldn't I be excited? Has everyone become so jaded that Gaga is destined to flop? ARTPOP was a bump in the road, but it was still quality, to me. BTS just ruined it all.

I don't expect LG5 to flop or anything, but i think you might be over hyping yourself; if its not this godly amazing better than anything released in the last 5 years masterpiece, you'll be disappointed in the long run, even if on first listen its everything you think it is :shrug:

I'm cautiously optimistic about it. It could be amazing, but knowing my luck, it could be awful. I tend to just assume that its A: Never Coming and B: Going to be quite mediocre despite the time put into it so that I don't end up completely devastated when it comes out. This way, i'll still be pleasantly surprised no matter what:emma:
