So today, August 2nd, 2016, I realized I've been lying to myself for almost three years now.

I popped in my brand new Niel Young CD (Thanks Gags) while driving to places and a very familiar song came on. It was Honest Eyes.

I immediately thought, what a legend Gaga is, Niel Young covering her song. And then I realized, this CD came out before Lady Gaga was even a name.

I was in disbelief. One of my all time favorite "Gaga songs" was- a cover?

And now here I am, making this non-thread worthy thread, to ask you guys, when did you know about this?

Why was I not informed? :grr:

I didn't know that either. I guess we're flop fans :green:

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

Its just the beginning. The " see the lonely boys out on the weekend..." part is a cover but the rest of the song is Gaga's.

I didn't even know it had an intro :omg: The version I've always heard is the one without it

What’s in a reverse-warholian expedition?

The song history that TRULY confuses me is "Brown Eyes", can someone give me the fresh tea on that?
