And then after Tony's birthday... we get LG5! Come hit us with all that jazz so we get some new Gaga songs sooner.

From the description, it doesn't sound like she's performing. It sounds like she's going to flip the switch for the light show and it will play a pre-recorded medley of Tony's hits synchronized to the light show.

Nevertheless,  I'll be excited to see what she wears and what she has to say.

Flawless! Can't wait for Cheek 3 Cheek!!!

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

Bloody hooker

Is anybody else excited to see what she wears? :excited2:

This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare.

Who cares? This collaboration should have ended in February last year and LG5 should have been out in May.

It's not so much a collaboration as much it is a friend celebrating with another.

I wouldn't mind as such if her song selection was good...but its the same old corny songs that have been covered and covered for decades...cheek to cheek the song has been done to death...you can do jazz and be dynamic. Her work with Tony is very Buble lift muzak when it should be more edgy like Melody Gardot for example.

Oh and for the last time why does she always ignore Lush life and Nature boy! The two best recordings on the damn  album!

"honoring 19-time Grammy Winner and legend Tony Bennett's contribution to American music over the last 90 years" did you miss this part? he is a living jazz legend. the songs are not corny, they are classic jazz standards because they have been covered for decades because the audience loves them. it's only logical. for your information: jazz is about interpretation that shows the dynamic and universal nature of the lyrics, hence them being classics/standards. it's not about being edgy, jfc.

the first part of your statement is insulting, while the second is just embarrassing. i don't know which is worse.

it's a celebration to honor tony bennett. since lush life is not a duet, it's not a song that tony can perform. obviously, they are going to choose a song that represents their organic and effortless collaboration. the title track seems to be the best choice because they can sing next to one another as two great friends, as student and teacher. don't forget that tony is the reason why gagz didn't quit music altogether and managed to put a smile on her cheeks amidst all her hardships. tony is a jazz legend and, more importantly, a mentor and a true friend to gagz.

being thankful and showing respect wouldn't hurt, you know? just to change your dynamic, so that you can be... what was the word? oh, yeah: edgy.

if you hurt taylor swift, i'll hurt you back
