AHS: Colony is coming

As I stated back in December of last year, AHS season six will focus on the lost colony discussed in season one, and I believe there will be two storylines that somehow connect. With one being about the lost colony and one being about the farm in the present and their connection to one another may be revealed over time.

Refresh my memory.  What colony do you speak of that was mentioned in Muder House?

Roanoke was mentioned by Billie Jean in one of the later episodes.

The "fake" IMDb plot might actually have some truth imo. As Roanoke is near New England.

Kind of. It's about 600km away from Connecticut, the southernmost 'New England' state.

"Because of the continuing war with Spain, White was unable to mount another resupply attempt for an additional three years. He finally gained passage on a privateering expedition that agreed to stop off at Roanoke on the way back from the Caribbean. White landed on August 18, 1590, on his granddaughter's third birthday, but found the settlement deserted. His men could not find any trace of the 90 men, 17 women, and 11 children, nor was there any sign of a struggle or battle.[4]:130–33

The only clue was the word "CROATOAN" carved into a post of the fence around the village.[14] All the houses and fortifications had been dismantled, which meant that their departure had not been hurried."

Roanoke and Croatoans are linked :excited2:

maybe the lost colony in the show isn't 'lost' in the way history knows it, it's just undiscovered yet? I mean, the present set is the colony but they don't know it?

The lost colony was an island but we know that Ryan mix things and place them in other cities/places

This could fit Peter Pan's theme theory too.....the island/colony?/ could be Neverland

"CROATOAN" was said by Violet in Murder House when she tried to banish Tate.

I don't think it will be the theme, but a big secondary story.

It was confirmed that the story is setting in present so I guess the Croatoan thing will be like Delphine LaLaurie flashbacks in Coven
