Polls are almost irrelevant right now, I'd wait at least a week before we even consider the highs and lows.

Trump (briefly) held a 2 point lead over Clinton over the 6/30- 7/11 time frame according to Quinnipac Poll. Also NBC/WSJ/Marist has Clinton on a 9 point lead.

I agree, but it's at least calming to see these numbers.

If you go to RealClearPolitics and click on this specific poll it links you to the full question and answer spread sheet for the polling everything about the election. It's really interesting actually. I will say that there were more Democrats polled in this (but not drastically). I also believe other polls tend to be more accurate. But we shouldn't be surprised here. Pennsylvania is typically a blue state even though it's considered a battleground state.

Don't get too comfy, I fear this election will be very back and forth :emma:

Clinton needs to crawl out of her hole and do more news conferences. The news is TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP.

If only she could get away with being a huge mess like he can :air:

Tens of thousands of fraud cases, he just lost a lawsuit and has to pay $300,000 or something like that, rape allegations, hitting on his daughter as an infant and as a grown woman, adultery, getting caught in lie after lie, a CIA director said he committed treason and should be investigated for conspiring with Russia, no experience whatsoever, "inflammatory remarks" is his language, but none of his supporters care :air: meanwhile Hillary gets flack for being careless (which I honestly get) and she gets blamed for what the Democratic party did which was basically equal to the Republicans' "#NeverTrump" movement :smh:

Anyway, again, I agree.

Bruh, Bernie and his followers we're not a megalomaniac racist. It's in no way equal.:rip:

Besides, she wouldn't get any flack if she didn't HIRE the person "responsible" for it :rip:

She gets controversy because of the shady things she does.

But yes, this is a very surprising election.

This one :toofunny:

The Miami Herald reported Friday that “Circuit Court Judge Jorge Cueto, presiding over a lawsuit related to unpaid bills brought by a local paint store against the Trump National Doral Miami golf resort, ordered the billionaire politician’s company to pay the Doral-based mom-and-pop shop nearly $300,000 in attorney’s fees.”

Yes. Another example of Donald Trump stiffing those who do work for him. Not paying his debts. You know, managing money – the thing of which he says he is the master.

Apparently The Paint Spot did a job for Trump and Trump failed to make a final payment of $34,863 on a $200,000 bill for paint used at the resort. The guy who thinks he is immune to all laws – and indeed, the United States Constitution – figured The Paint Spot had been “paid enough” regardless of the contract his company had signed.

Hillary isn't, and hasn't been, "in a hole". She has actually been out meeting with people across the country practically everyday since she announced her run for the presidency. News conferences and big speeches are what Trump prefers, because he doesn't really want to mix with the people.

She hasn't had a press conference for 235 days. Your only excuse is that she's meeting people? She can't balance her schedule for an hour or two a month? She's hiding from the press and you know it.

She's had interviews, town halls and debates for all that.

One candidate can verbally threaten the press, say he is going to hit those who disagree with him "so hard their heads would spin", call on US enemies to spy on government elections, dismiss a war veteran, mock a disabled person, spew any and all kinds of racist and bigoted language....and his numbers go up.

Hillary can't even "smile or talk right". I agree with her strategy and I'm absolutely sure that her advisers are advising her in the ways that are best for her campaign. The last thing anyone needs to do is let Trump (who won't even release his tax returns) bully them into how to run their campaign.

This is about winning, so that a dangerous demagogue is not in power. That is what I know.
