The singer usually doesn't sing the whole song, but listens to mic feedback in their ear, as well as the volume of the music and background singers. They often make final adjustments at this point based on sound. I know we are gaga fans here, but you guys wouldn't like it if Katy Fans were ruining such a good moment for gaga.
