A source close to Calvin tells E! News that the newly single record producer "wants to make some music with Kanye down the road." And while nothing is in the works quite yet, Calvin thinks the rapper is "brilliant with music."

The feeling appears to be mutual for Kanye and his wife Kim Kardashian. A source close to the Kardashians tells us that the couple "always thought" that Calvin was really talented.
