well, i apply the same rationale to the situation that i apply to the "is TFM an album or not?" one: if she says she's a rockstar and TFM is a separate and complete entity, then that's what she is (a rockstar) and that's what TFM is (an album). the artist's stance matters more to me than predefined conceptions of one's essence.

You should all just give up with the "gaga is fixing her reputation, she wants to be loved again". Gaga is singing jazz because she loves it and feel comfortable belting out those extraterrestrial notes all day long. Period.

also, she's been singing jazz since she was 13. why stop now?
