Those who are afraid of change are swept aside. The pic in the OP is Gaga standing with many in Orlando: "And the sun will respect Every face on the deck". Those standing for causes like this (support of LGBT) are on the right side of history and will be respected, like all the faces in the photo. I don't understand the post that followed either. Yes, she is so much more than a pop star. The song in the OP is from Dylan’s album The Times They Are a-Changin' where he addressed several social problems and injustices. It took strong and brave people to stand up for righting those wrongs. Protestors were arrested, some killed, and some advocates for change were assassinated. Those people put themselves out there on the line. Today we have Gaga, who rather than just throwing money at problems, puts herself directly and personally on the line, willing to take the monetary and popularity hits by supporting causes unpopular with much of the public, and willing to be banned from countries for her stances. And like those heroic people from the ‘60s, she is a catalyst for change, she helps to actually get things done. People notice what she does, and she uses her reach to accomplish good. Note another line in that same Dylan song: “And the ship's wise men will remind you once again that the whole wide world is watchin'”. I live outside the space time continuum.
