Didymus 34,380
Why isn't this performance more discussed? It's ****ing fantastic! She's so in her element, so comfortable, pitch perfect in terms of vocal performance, and completely into her role as Frank So discuss this underrated performance, and let me know what you think I think it's one of her all-time best, and probably the best performance of 2015 (**** that overrated Sound of Music thing) Remember she had to do this twice because the stage effects didn't work (don't work second time either) The audience footage She slayed that high note twice effortlessly, and even adapted her last melody for the second round to make it more impressive That's our girl. Luc 4,775
To be honest I think the song is boring. The tones are so low and feel as if she's holding back her voice. I prefer it when a song stays exciting all the time, and Gaga's songs (but also C2C's) are perfect for me for that reason

It keeps on moving, playing with different instruments, melodies, and timbres. Like, a lot more even than most of Gaga's pop songs so I don't get your "Gaga's songs are exciting all the time compared to this" comment I mean this song has a tempo change mid-song, how dare you. As for the talent bit, what are you talking about. That instrumental is wild. It takes an immensely powerful voice (and I don't mean a loud one, but one that can command attention) to tower over that and OWN that track, and Gaga did it flawlessly, while owning the entire stage too, and staying in character until the last second. If you think this is boring, then you're probably boring

The adlip at the end was on point, she left it out in the final performance and talked instead + the "get off my stage...it's my birthday" was a great addition! I love them both equally But yeah, I agree, those were great. And the high notes at the end are just stunning both ways. I'm glad someone in the audience recorded the whole thing

I guess I just like upbeat pop songs and stuff like this doesn't do much for me
The Surrealist 27,470
I don't like it all. I hate it when the is so obviously in character, but she was vocally on point anyway.

ItsTommyBitch 12,640
One of her best televised performances by far Her tone is PERFECT for this, her pitch is absolutely spot on, and so are the ad-libs. What are the stage-effects that were supposed to work in the performances? Is that why she makes that "oh well" face towards the end? ~~~ I prefer the televised, her ad-libs were more on point, she had actually just a few pitchy moments, and the ending ad-lib seemed very ill-timed so the impact was diminished for me. I also think her little repartee with the dancer was cuter in the televised 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

No idea what they were supposed to be. Since she looks down, it's got to be something that shoots up, but.. And yeah, it is. One of the dancers is smirking too because of it, I love that
Battle 4 Ur Life 6,721
It's f* inspiring! She overdid herself with this one. No wonder I watched it all over again for the 100th time and I'm so glad I did it. Pure Bliss. “Fantastic, chic, freak, slay.”
