lavenderblondee 3,695 Posted July 25, 2016 Share Posted July 25, 2016 I am SO READY for Phelps to return back to my TV. 2008 was the first time I got into the Olympics and it was such an iconic time. From watching Shawn Johnson and Nastia Lukin to Phelps beating record after record. I'm really hoping I have limited hours at work during so many of the events so I can watch a majority of it. It's so exciting. My boyfriend is currently on his 2nd business trip this summer to Brazil and it's brought out bad anxiety in him. But, right now it's currently winter for them so the bug problem isn't bad. He says he hasn't seen a single bug in the 4 weeks he's off/on been there. Opening ceremony from London 2012 olympics was kind of boring (if you compare it with Beijing 2008 OC). Same with closing ceremony.
