Are you happy with how Gaga's career has gone so far?

I'm pretty satisfied. She gets to do what she wants to do and it makes her happy. Just because she started her career off as a pop star doesn't mean she has to be that way for the rest of her life (although I'd be really sad if she quit pop music). Of course the ARTPOP era didn't go the way she wanted it to, but the good thing is that she didn't want her career to be just about pop music. Most people don't work the same kind of job all their life. She can do something different every couple of years and evolve as a person, while making her career the way she wants it to be. And I'd say she did a fine job as a jazz musician and an actress (she won a Grammy and a Golden globe). 

tl:dr Gaga's career isn't just about being a pop star. She's also a great jazz singer, actress, activist, and a f*cking legend.

Yes. Because she became an actress (both TV and in an upcoming movie) and a jazz singer. Making connections with both Adele and Lana (hoping they collab with her).

She doesn't just exist in the pop world, you know....

I enjoyed The Fame, The Fame Monster, and even Born This Way despite the messy era. I actually believe BTW is her best work to date. So miss me with your messy, ignorant, and invalid post.  

I obviously love Gaga, but I think it's so funny when fans try to deny her decline and downfall. Because of her mistakes, she is no longer at the top of her game where she once was and that's okay to admit. Your posts here are PATHETIC just like you trying to make It seem like Gaga has ruined her life because you didn't like how HER carreer is evolving. And discrediting everything she has done with her both personal and professional life since 2011.

Go finish college and be half as successfull as she has been in her downfall. And grow up.

It is actually sad that it bothers you so much to want to make everyone say that she is a has been. Get a life. There are people here who actualy like Gaga (not just because we have spent money and time on her) and want to see what she does without caring if her single debuts at #1 or #70 because, you know what? That flop single is still better that most of the songs who have been hitting #1 this year. And still has an amazing Music video that shits on those videos getting 1B views.

This. Her previous achievements are nothing to scoff at. However, she really needs to step up her game with LG5 or it's over for my stanning. I get that she wants to express herself as an artist, but if you're going to play the pop game, you should be able to balance yourself with being artistic/experimental and commercial. She was able to do this with TFM. I believe she could still do it. However, it all boils down to whether she wants to do the pop race again.

Right now, the flame, the passion I used to see in her, I now see in Katy('s team).

I'm sad about all the singles and music videos that could have been from 2011 onward.

I also loved the direction Gaga appeared to be going in 2014 with the SXSW performance. I thought she was genuinely telling pop music to **** off and reaching a space where she could freely release whatever outlandish/experimental masterpieces she wanted to. 

I have enjoyed most recent live performances, but I'm here for that next level crazy bitch.

She's a respected and well-known artist, I don't care how she's doing in the charts. She has done tons of great things with some amazing individuals and gotten acclaim for it from people whose opinions actually matter. That's enough for me.

Besides there's still a lot of time for her to do more. As long as she's happy, I'm happy.

I agree with the OP that Lady Gaga has definitely been underappreciated by the masses since 2011. She deserves a lot more acknowledgement than what she got.

But at least now the public get that she's an artist and not just any other pop singer.
