Why doesn't Gaga or her label ever release live concert tour albums, in example one for the Monster Ball or artRave?

not to compare but I always see artists like T. Swift and Madonna always release them?

Imagine the epic slayage!!

I wouldn't be that interested, nothing tops going to the actual concert!

Considering I went to the artRave and the Monster Ball, I'd feel like it be ethereal for me to remember it & it'd be great to hear :excited2:

I don't think there's really a need for it. With live performances they are available on YouTube within hours.

Also with Gaga she typically changes her style every venue she goes to so there wouldn't be a consistent 'sound' so to say.

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

This is true! I was thinking that as I created the thread :duck:

Honest?

I don't think her vocal performance would be good enough. If she had a live acoustic album it would be different, of course, but yeah, we're talking about a large portion of her concert being backing track backed mediocre pop vocals. I'm glad she doesn't do it. Live pop albums are generally awful.

Why? You can get the audio from the DVD, and tours on CD always have less  songs because they don't fit in.

There is also the fact that Gaga is a visual artist as well. You're not getting the full experience if you can't actually see her.
