Having a centrist might give some Republicans that also despise Trump that final push to bite the bullet and vote for Hillary...let's just hope she chooses liberals/progressives to fill the 1-3 SCOTUS seats Hopefully this is the case, but I'm not so sure about it Both Trump and Hillary are very polarizing figures, you really either love them or you don't. Hopefully this will give some more perspective on things, but people are already really invested in this year's elections. They've already pretty much made up their mind on who they want to support, and I don't think many people will vote for her just because she has Tim Kaine with her. PopBitch 1,218
I watched the speech expecting boringness, and it blew me away. There's so many great adjectives to give it. Love him. He's not boring. Dumpy must be having a meltdown and regretting his Pence Pick even more. I can't wait for the Democratic National Convention next week. #ClintonKaineAlltheway

Kaine's speech and being on the ticket now with a lot of people being impressed will do a lot of good. He helps in many ways now. I expect great things at the DNC and feel calmer about Clinton winning now.

That hurts some Dems/Independents as well as the woman's vote He better come out and say hes "evolved" on the topic Id have rather she picked Perez or someone else It's been said before he evolved. Many people personally oppose abortion, but are pro-choice in that they don't believe the government should be able to tell a woman what to do with their body. "But ever since Kaine entered the Senate in 2012, he has had a perfect pro-choice voting record, according to NARAL Pro-Choice America and Planned Parenthood. He also insists that issues of reproductive choice and intimacy are personal decisions that the government has no place interfering with. “I deeply believe, and not just as a matter of politics, but even as a matter of morality, that matters about reproduction and intimacy and relationships and contraception are in the personal realm,” he said in a recent NBC interview:
