kvnrp 48,353
I'm boping to this gem again lately, and I forgot how good the song actually is I actually stanned for Katy a bit during OOTB and Teenage Dream
Weasel 12,525
Liked her more during that era than her latest era yes. Her latest era seemed too manufactured / focused on trying to go viral with cringy videos (and songs)

Thomas P 18,479
OMG YES!!!! I was 9/10 during this my life LITERALLY revolved around (primarily) gaga and Beyoncé, but this is the only time that any other artist actually mattered to me any where near that extant! I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

Idk the Teenage Dream video seems authentic and real and I love it. I wish Gaga's videos would take a hint of Katy's earlier videos because I'm sort of over the choreographed unauthentic videos

In fact do you even Stan Gaga is the real question.

Kind of like Sandcastles on Lemonade. I would be totally here for it.
ALGAYDO 32,709
I've been bopping to that song nonstop since its release. It's still in my current playlists. Definitely one of the best pop records in the last few decades. The only thing that I hate about it is that it was produced by Dr. Puke
BuzzcutSeason 3,307
I Kissed a Girl is more superior to most of these songs and i stopped liking her during this era. Like it's not terrible obviously and i like a few songs (it's hard to hate) but idk i thought/think katy herself is/was annoying

Teenage Dream isn't even critically acclaimed or even praised. The Fame brought around a new era in pop music still lasting to this day.

The Fame wouldn't be well received today and to new listeners of today it may not sound that impressive, but at its time of release it was revolutionary. Electronic pop was not mainstream or even a lucrative market but Gaga changed everything. It's kinda like the Star Wars of music, not so impressive today, but revolutionary and game changing at the time of release.
