The Concept of TFM

I know TFM is supposed to depict the dark/bad side of fame; but could you explain it to me with more details?

I've heard that each song was meant to describe a fear: can you tell me more about this (which fear for which song and why)?

Thank you

I don't remember. I think Bad romance was the fear of love, Alejandro fear of men, Telephone the fear of asphyxia, speechless fear of death or alcohol(don't remember), teeth fear of truth. It's been so long.

The perfect amount of teeth, that is. :excuseu: Gently add teeth while using the ol' human microwaved banana peel.

Bad Romance : Fear of Love
Alejandro : Fear of Men/Religion
Monster : Fear of Sex
Speechless : Fear of Death
Dance in the Dark : Fear of Self
Telephone : Fear of Work
So Happy I Could Die : Fear of Alcohol
Teeth : Fear of Truth

But the fears are not just entitled to one song, actually we can find several fears in every song, there's the fear of sex in Bad Romance, Alejandro and Dance in the Dark for example.

I found this:

The main inspiration behind the song was Gaga's fear of suffocation and being unable to get out and have a good time due to the amount of work "suffocating" her. The lyrics portray the singer as preferring the dance floor to answering her lover's phone calls. Gaga explained that the telephone addressed in the lyrics of the song, is in reality a person telling her to continue working harder.

“Fear of Suffocation — something that I have or fear is never being able to enjoy myself, [...] 'Cause I love my work so much, I find it really hard to go out and have a good time. [...] "I don't go to nightclubs, [...] You don't see pictures of me falling out of a club drunk. I don't go — and that's because I usually go and then, you know, a whiskey and a half into it, I got to get back to work.”

—Lady Gaga
