He's not exciting or as far left as Bernie voters will want, but if he can help get her into the White House, I can accept it. . She's much more influential in the Senate than as Clinton's #2. However, I'm just saying it reflects poorly on Clinton (imo) that she's choosing the "safe" and moderate choice when she's proclaimed herself to be such a "progressive" throughout the primary. Jellybean Monster 10 Posted July 22, 2016 Share Posted July 22, 2016 I know people are gonna give me **** for this, and I also want to put it out there that I sincerely also hope she picks someone considerably far left, like Warren although I think she is more "useful" in the senate...But Kaine IS also really great choice, he has a really good track record with where he stands on a great number of issues, particularly gun reform. I hope people give him a chance if he is who she chooses, and do their research and see why she would pick him. Don't write him off because he isn't the farthest left person she could have chosen. These decisions are made with a lot in mind, and the VP has to represent the President's agenda on key issues, gun reform is one of the biggest issues we face today, and he would be a great pick to further that cause.
