I mean I feel like it's a theme that has always been there but I think that she has never touched that topic in an album, because The Fame is about the desire of become a famous person and the fame in general, and The Fame Monster (which should be ''everything bad about fame'' or ''the dark side of the fame'' according to the title) is about fears and insecurities.
