Though I think he meant to compare it to the concept of being transracial actually... It was a messy speech idk lol. I think its okay to default assume authorities on subjects are indeed authorities, but hes only a neurologist, not a psychologist, anthropologist, or sociologist or even a member of the LGBT community. He lost all credibility as a generally "intelligent" person to me when he publicly stated that he believes that prisoners go into prison, are raped, and come out gay and that phenomenon single handedly proves homosexuality is an active choice Hes just literally factually wrong about what makes people tick and he was wrong even in this video when he said "For thousands of years we have known what a man is and a woman is and all of a sudden we don't know anymore" I'd expect someone intelligent to know how to make a sound argument and that isn't one by even a stretch Hes just mimicking political arguments that based on misinformation and ignorance instead of science and reason.
