So the mid week UK charts have arrived I attached a link below. The official UK charts will be revealed on Friday!

Rise by Katy Perry is set to debut at 13

Make Me by Britney Spears is set to debut at 22

One Dance is set for a mind blowing 15th week at the summit of the charts

So what do you think of the charts? Are you happy with Katy and britney's mid week performance I'm shocked I thought Britney would grab a top 15 debut at the bare minimum and Katy would grab a top 10 debut. However Make Me is getting radio play here now and it is very suited to UK taste so it should get longevity hopefully.

Just to note though Pretty girls debuted at 16 here work bit** at 7 and hiam at 6.

it's making history

ikr, it is massive here every sings and dances to it in town and on the bus and stuff and then there's me just thinking oh that used to be gaga they would do this to. But oh well lfe moves on and I do love music rn so I dont wanna moan. Surprisingly though one dance isn't on radio here that much. The radio is dominated by Rihanna tiwycf! Ari is popular on radio too

It is! But I am optimistic about it because its the first single since hiam that has cracked our radios so it should get longevity!

Yeah I guess the UK feels and the rest of europe tbh feel increasingly disconnected from Britney, if she came on x factor or a show like that rn to promote it then it would easily get top 10 easily here maybe top 5 but she hasn't been here or anywhere on tour for so long. I think that may be a factor

The BBC actually investigated this and sales are actually not a factor in One Dance's charting, the song doesnt even place top 10 in sales figures and hasn't for the majority of the time it has charted. It's there for streaming alone and its bs :wtf:

American singers feel like they don't need to promote in Europe anymore and they'll  still get a hit, like I'm seeing less and less american acts around europe, which is dumb tbh and is making a lot of them less relevant.

Getting sick of Drake tho, and if it's how streaming is going to impact the charts by creating eternal #1, i'm all for going back to sales based charts.
