Should Gaga pull a surprise release like Katy Perry did?

Laziness? In the 3 years since ARTPOP, Gaga did a world tour for the album that didn't end until November 2014, less then 2 years ago. She also released a jazz album, which got its own tour. The tour ended less then a year ago. Then she did a tv show.

Laziness? Gaga's anything but lazy. You have no idea what she's doing behind closed doors, you don't know how the far the album she is into the album, none of us do. We don't deserve an album, she could have stopped making music after ARTPOP and C2C. She wants to put out a new album, for us.

Laziness may not be the right word but I feel like we've been very patient. She's the one who used to be everywhere, she seemed unstoppable and yet here we are, almost 3 years from ARTPOP with barely anything. The ARTPOP era lasted like 2 weeks and she was completely gone after that. Besides that, even though she has said very little about this album, the things she did say gave people hope. For example, dropping ''LG5 time'' on instagram (literally almost a year ago (49 weeks), claiming she'd drop a new album literally a week into 2016. And I'm sure many fans couldn't care less about her starring in some show that isn't / has never been aired in their country anyways. 

I get it. She may need her time. But to say that she'd be fast / had to hurry this album when it's been 3 years is still a bit of a reach to me.

I agree with you. We have been patient and it is offensive the album is taking so long. She hasn't been open enough with us on when the album is coming. It is disrespectful. I just didn't like the term lazy, now that you've clarified, I agree entirely. I mean for god sake, Britney, a star infamous for not caring (no shade, I love her), has now released her lead single before Gaga.

Well whatever she is doing behind closed doors, it clearly has no results.

And if you actually sit down and do your work, you will finish it, and it won't take so long. But no she would rather plant vegetables and ride horses...so silly.

For all we know, the single could come out next month, that's what many people are speculating. You have no idea what she's doing, she may have most of it, if not all of it done. She's a very smart woman and has learned from previous eras, she knows what she's doing.

Music is also not some thing that is super easy to do. Sure, it's Gaga, and that's her forte, but I'm sure she spent time finding out what the next sound of the album would be, and thought of what she would wear, and how she plans to explore this album, etc. etc. Saying she's lazy is just an insult to Gaga, she's one of the hardest working artists out there.
