You mods (and that fake b*tch) can say whatever the f*ck you want about this issue, but one thing is certain: this is a huge STAB in the back of this community who STAN for Gaga and have been active for a VERY long time and ALWAYS support her no matter WHAT. 

But i'm really glad that Gaga has been ignoring this place since 2013 as she should.

I'm saying that the banners seem justified considering the fact that they reflect what is currently the hot topic of our community. We are both aware that we have never had this before, my point is that it seems premature to criticise at this point because for all we know it's the start of a trend

You can't really come and criticise the banners based on the fact that Rihanna or Beyonce didn't get a banner, these sort of things need a starting platform. If Rihanna and Beyonce DID get a banner yet Britney and Katy didn't then maybe you would be in a stronger position to criticise, as of now I don't really think it's a fair critique.

Stop quoting me as if I have told you this is a start. I haven't.  I've said I know as much as you about this and I have said that your criticism is premature because from all anyone knows it could be a starting point.

I'm not saying it's a starting point, I'm saying criticism over the fact that previous releases haven't had this treatment is premature - because there would need to be some sort of starting point (whether that be Adele, Rihanna, Beyonce, Britney or Katy).

Can you please explain how this is a stab in the back? I'm a part of this community, I stan for Gaga and I don't even enjoy Katy Perry to be completely frank. I have been active in this community for a long time and I have always supported Gaga in her artistic endeavors.

I actually take it quite personally when you imply that, by defending the banners I am somehow stabbing Gaga and the community I care about in the back.

I don't think Gaga would be upset by this at all, judging by her previous comments I would think she would be happy that we are not encouraging competition

To make this even more clear, nobody in the mod team is in anyway responsible for these banners and I'm under no obligation to defend them. If I think the banners are stupid, silly, or a bad judgment call I would have every right to say so - and I would. The fact that I'm a moderator has absolutely nothing to do with my feelings on the banners
