Why is everyone blaming Linda Perry? If anything this is proof that she was telling the truth and was forced to keep quiet and come up with that embarrassing "I wasn't in the room" excuse, not even remotely correlated to her initial statement of having heard the demo and the final version. (Though I admit that her comment seemed vengeful and spiteful and was probably triggered by the fact that her collaboration with Miley Cyrus was paid dust.)

However, if this had been any other artist, you wouldn't be questioning the fact that they didn't get the Emmy nomination, you'd be complaining about them getting nominated for an Oscar, in the first place.
