I had 2 WP this week. One for bashing Katy Perry, and another one for bashing Kim K in a post about loving her (I made a joke but they took it bad). I have seen so many disgusting comments about Madonna and I haven't seen anyone being warned, and this is a pop culture forum, are we supposed to lick every popstar's ass? If I have to ignore a good comment about someone I hate, they can ignore a bad comment I make about anyone, at the end, that celeb won't read it. Give me WP when I insult an user, but a celeb? Pointless

If your opinion is well constructed then you won't be getting a WP. If your opinion is just throwing insults then you will.

People are moaning about WPs so much. All you need to do is not be hateful. Yes have negative opinions that's fine but cut the hate. If you can't form a decent opinion then you're probably too young to use the forum anyway.

I have well constructed opinions but they will just take it as hateful. If I say Katy Perry is untalented or a copycat they will give me a WP, when it's an opinion. Where's the hate? Am I saying "she needs to die" or something like that? No. I just find her untalented, I don't lile her product, there's no need to tell me "please love her, on this forum we don't like hateful comments (but you can hate on Madonna anytime you want)"

not really, actually it depends on what members post since some members are actually having special treatment from mods  (at least , that's the impression one would get)

tho, it would be better if there would show which comments were warned or not, like on ATRL

I've always loved your posts, but my goodness.

First off, yes you did claim you knew how many WP's senior members get, in the very first sentence of your OP You have no way of doing that. I personally have 7 WP's, and I've never stopped gathering them over the years, so I know that's not true, especially since I've been getting warned for exactly the same things. I'm sure there are plenty of other members who've noticed similar things (and I personally know a good many senior members who got banned too, so..).

I get the frustration, but on the other hand, you don't really specify what you're talking about Context is a big deal when it comes to moderation, and when we don't have it, we can't just agree with you like this (I know that some people have, but they're being stupid).

I'd ask you to expand, but discussing moderation is against the rules I don't like all the rules either, but I did subscribe to them when I became a member, so I try to respect them nonetheless. You should do the same, or conclude that you don't want to, and leave, but I don't want you to do that 'cause I'd miss you so don't pls

Exactly. There is a strong line between criticism and hate, and that's one of our problems on GGD. If you go to any thread there are so many people who do not construct their opinions and makes the forum boring. There are members I strongly appreciate such as Didymus who mostly says intellectual things that I sometimes may not agree on, however I do love to see his input in threads. But this us not the point.

 You can have a laugh here without hurting anybody and read the rules. Some people here do get WPs and they don't make any threads about it, how could you be so sure that there is favoritism?
