She may have pressed people's buttons with her publicity stunts and religious controversies, but she never went out of her way to hurt anyone. Taylor Swift undeniably tried to hurt Calvin Harris, which I think is just plain mean. Obviously we can't know the ins and outs of their break-up, but I doubt Calvin is in the wrong with the way he reacted today. Taylor's silence says everything. Titzlol 607 Posted July 13, 2016 Share Posted July 13, 2016 Not sure, lol she seems like a sweet kid, everyone says all this **** about her but you never hear anything bad from her actually... wasnt really a fan before till I realized that she actually makes some of the best music I've ever heard, 1989 is like a masterpiece and the only album I've actually bought aside from Born This Way... They've never let up since. I've gone over them time and time again and most people have already repeated them. In short, I have never seen an artist who's as fake and calculating as she is. She actually borderline scares me with the amount of control she has in this business and how she can sway the media to believe that she's a victim in every situation while everyone else comes out badly. That's a bad excuse. And just the excuse she'd want you to give. Gaga was innocent. She is not. I've never hated Taylor because it's cool. I knew as soon as I first heard her music all those years ago that this was going to be an artist I was going to hate. And not only is her music mediocre, but her attitude stinks even worse, and she gets more horrible as time goes on. How does she seem like a sweet kid? She's released diss track after diss track from day one, making herself out to be the victim every time. No full-grown adult is that innocent. And I have heard plenty bad from her over the years. Maybe you haven't been keeping up with celebrity culture or researched her deeply enough, but I sure have. I'm always surprised at how so many people can't seem to recognise a snake in the grass when they see one. I like to think I'm a pretty good judge of character and I've had a bad feeling about this girl from day one. Its only intensified with time and it's becoming 100% clarified now. Yes, some of the hate comes from the fact that she can be so basically talented yet gain success...but it's mainly to do with what a horrible person she is and how she's convinced people otherwise. And I think we're allowed to take time out of our lives to hate celebrities when certain ones are jammed down our throats and made out to be perfect when we know otherwise. You can't make people change their minds about subjective tastes by shoving it down their throats or alienating them. Peer pressure doesn't always work and even backfires. Do your own research.
