And it's really sad because Venezuela is a beautiful country with the biggest oil reserve and natures reserves but this government is pushing our country into its decline, everywhere I'm looking around there are lines full of people. Fathers, mothers with their kids trying to get food but most of them leave empty handed and everyday is getting worse and worse.

I pray for my country everyday.

The moment I read the thread tittle I knew it would be this video.

Left Venezuela almost 12 years ago and it saddens me to see how everything has been going on there since then. It's almost painful to watch such a rich country in every way possible go downhill like this.

Bad Bromance

Wow, this is really sad.  Things keep going from bad to worse in Venezuela and there are no signs of improvement any time soon.  I hope things turn around for this country.  Venezuelans deserve better.

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

I can't wait to leave this country because this is just so sad. Hopefully by the end of the year I'll be able to go to another country.:(

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

Oh I get that but now it's not just the government, people are being nasty to one another and it's just really sad, it'll take a lot more than a change of government for Venezuela to recover. But thank you for your kind words, there's still a lot of good people here.

We suck right now, because of the goverment, but we are a really powerfull country in a lot of things, sadly  Chavez ruined everything, from education, to economy, to society. I hope us, this young generation, have the solution for all this sh¡t the chavismo created.

U have enough Natural Resources to do well. But things have definitely been mismanaged big time

Also you guys are like us in Canada. Our big oil reserves (3rd largest in the world) are in Oil Sands also and its more expensive to make.

So if you guys wanna exploit that resource ull need to create an environment im which companies will actually feel confortable investing in your Nation!

PS: Were developing some cool new technology here in Canada to increase recovery rates (which should raise our proven reserves), decrease costs, and lower environmental impact

You guys as well as China got oil sands technology thanks to our research, when our research for further improvements are done, better put it to good use!

But pay us next time. I dont recall our companies selling the research. How did China and Venezuela get their hands on it? :neyde:

Oh well I didn't know about that even though Venezuela has the biggest nature oil reserves associated and non-associated that means the refined of these feedstock is cheaper than the refinement of heavy oil but of course we have the equipment for the treatment of both and is the typical process plant that you can find in every refinery or treatment plant in the world.

I'm a chemical engineering student and I don't know the process to treat sand oil but it most be expensive and the results of efficiency of the products can be lower than the others oils and it could take years to do an appropriate technology maybe that's why is the first time that I hear about that. Now I'm feeling dumb xD but I see maybe is something than in our country is under cover.
