Your comparison is still inane because the Republican party is known to be the obstructionist conservative party and runs on a divisive platform while the Democratic party is all about unification. He doesn't have to like her. Nobody needs to like him either. He needs to take responsibility for all the bullshit he has spewed about Hillary in the last few months and do his duty in uniting the party against the Republicans. Quit siding with him just because you like him. Why are you still in primary mode? This isn't about Bernie and Hillary anymore. This is about the presidency. They don't both suck hard. Hillary is the most qualified candidate for the presidency in a long time and it's pretty pathetic that people like you denigrate her many accomplishments because she's not your preferred candidate. I'd bring up all her scandals but you'd just say they are "superficial reasons" so I'm not even gonna bother. My point of commenting here is to say leave Bernie alone, he doesn't have to support anyone and shouldn't be attacked for simply not endorsing someone. This whole campaign the democratic establishment loved to point out that he's actually an independent, but now that it's convenient they want to treat him as if he owes them something. Her values don't align with his and it's not up to Bernie to convince his supporters to vote for her. That responsibility is Hillary's and Hillary's alone. In fact, Bernie would lose credibility and respect from a lot of his supporters if he were to endorse Clinton. Everyone fails to understand that this isn't about Bernie Sanders, it's about the movement that he represents. The movement will continue with or without Bernie. I would never state that Johnson or Dr Fail Flunkenstein have to support Hillary because they are independents. I never stated that independents need to support Hillary (of course they'd be stupid to support Trump but I digress). Bernie is not like any of them and did not run as an independent. I thought the entire reason people liked Bernie was that he presumably displayed integrity. Are you making the claim that someone who ran as part of the Democratic ticket, appealed to and influenced the Democratic base, used Democratic resources, and has a role in shaping the Democratic platform has no responsibility in ensuring the Democratic future?
