Venus: why we stan so hard for it

Random opinion, but just throwing it out there... the reason all of us stan so hard for "Venus" and the reason we get so upset about 'ARTPOP' and DWUW and all of the mess that came after is because we know, deep down, that "Venus" is the ***ultimate*** Gaga song.

It literally does not get any better ---or any more Gaga--- than "Venus."

That is all.

That's also why she's using so many alien emojis lately. She knows that we know what's up. We're still here.

People stan for it because as you said, it's so Gaga-ish. I always saw people calling it Bad Romance 2.0 in terms of Gaganess. It's also her only song entirely created by herself.

It had to be the lead single just with a few production problems fixes

Because of the fu-cking chorus

When you touch me I die

just a little inside

I wonder if this could be love

Too many people here with moral superiority complex.

Precisely. You said it all right there, yourself. It's proof Gaga knows how to serve us Gaga as well as, if not better than, anyone else. It's the ultimate.

These melodies are so flawless in every way. And the production is able to keep pace and match them. It is absolutely "the one."

Goddess of love.

Folks who hate on 'ARTPOP' do not realize that they are hating on Gaga giving us her peak.

That's objective. I quite like Venus, but it isn't my favorite. I don't think it's the most Gaga either. And Madeon had a decent part in producing the song.

I'm up in here making all these sweeping generalizations and you've gotta come in here with the truth, lol. Shhhhh....  :P

.... but roll with it!

It really is the quintessential Gaga song, after Bad Romance or Poker Face. It's campy, catchy, retro, future, electronic, glam, disco, pop, dance, sexy, theatrical...etc every thing a Gaga song should be.

I love that her songs like Venus, Bad Romance, or Poker Face make you wanna laugh at first because it seems so silly and campy but then after the next couple plays, youre completely taken over by it and it slays your existence.

My friends laughed so hard at Venus the first time I played it for them but after a while it became "play Venus!!" and it just made them happy. That's why I love Gaga so much, her pop songs seem silly because of how campy they are but if you let go and let yourself enjoy them, it's like a sonic rainbow for your brain.

Because it's an amazing song.

I never bore of it, every second is golden.

The best song on the album. Forever pressed, bitter, shook, and all those other gay slangs that she scrapped it for DWUW! That tweet was the first time I EVER had a nonsense meltdown of the decision of a pop star :giveup: Why Gags, why :grr:
