Hi, I'm PunkTheFunk, and it's time to Stir the Pot. *cue theme music* No but seriously. Do you think it's finally time to retire the "Little Monsters" moniker? Recall that: 1. Gaga hates us. 2. We constantly violate the tenets of Little Monsterism. We're physically incapable of spreading online kindness. Recall that we effectively ended Sam Smith's career after the Great Oscar Meltdown of 2016 and sent death threats to David Bowie's son last night. To say that these actions go against what Gaga had in mind when she formed us from the dust of the ground and breathed into our nostrils the breath of pop music would be an understatement. 3. The "Lady Gaga" that created the Little Monsters is long gone anyway, so how can a cult survive without its leader? Stefani G. from New York City felt disenfranchised and lost, so she assumed the alter ego of "Lady Gaga" (which was really just an exaggerated version of her creative spirit) to make it in the music industry. Once Gaga achieved fame, she noticed a lot of her fans felt disenfranchised and lost as well, and took us in like we were orphaned ducklings caught in the rain. She fed, clothed, and raised us through the power of creative & artistic expression. She lived to please us (see Applause). Gaga needed us as much as we needed her. Once we let her down and started being ungrateful, she kicked us to the curb and made jazz music. Stefani G realized she was now confident enough to shed the "Gaga" alter ego and live her own damn life. Who needs fans when you have two dogs, a man, a horse, a mansion, and a field of zucchinis? 4. The fanbase itself has fundamentally changed. A Pew Research Poll conducted in 2015 found that 64% of Gaga's fans were over the age of 75 following the Cheek To Cheek/Tribute eras. By calling ourselves "Little Monsters" we are turning off potential album buyers who don't want to be associated with us. And remember, these are upper-middle class Baby Boomers who are crucial to Gaga's success. Why? Because: A) they are wealthier than the average cash-strapped teenager, and are therefore able to buy more copies of her albums, and B) they have children and grandchildren, and could potentially buy a copy of LG5 for each of their many family members. 5. I find the name cringeworthy tbh I'm ready for your stones Burn in hell. ''Little monsters'' is ICONIC.

Lady Gaga got a tattoo of a mouse on her elbow in August 2013 in honor of her younger sister Natali Germanotta who is a student at Parsons The New School for Design in New York City. Gaga chose a mouse because Natali was called “mouse” as a child. The details of the tattoo are also relevant to her sister’s life–the mouse is holding a needle and thread to symbolize Natali’s love of fashion design and the thread below the mouse’s feet spells out her nickname “Nat.” Gaga explained the tattoo on her website: “Got it for Nat, my sister and original hoodrat, her name was always mouse and I am loopy. Needle represents her passion for fashion design. I love her more than anything, she inspired me.”
