Is Gaga happy nowdays?

I believe she is.

She's more comfortable in being herself (which she wasn't before hence all the outfits, they were an expression of her pain) and is surrounded by people who really care about her. (Taylor, Brandon, Asia  etc.)

She has come to terms with her TIHTY incident since she did the song and talked about the issue. 

The album with Tony Bennett has helped her HEAPS in many ways. She's more confident as a 'Lady' and has more self-esteem. Plus she has always wanted to do jazz. (ALSO he's a legend and doing an album with him should make anybody happy about themselves. The fact that Tony thought she was worthy and is such a good friend to her has helped her a lot.)

I feel being in AHS and Ryan Murphy has helped her a lot too. She equates the relationship she has with him with the one she had with Alexander McQueen which was really sacred to her. And we all know she's wanted to be an actress since she was 13. (That's a joke but you get what I mean). She wanted to be an actress before she was a singer so it must have been fulfilling to finally do that.

Last of all, she's engaged to be married!  Who wouldn't be excited for that?

 

 

Off-topic: You know.. I really think that the reason she has changed so much is because she's happy. I feel she only had the music to lean on before but now she has so many other things in her life that make her happy that music isn't that much of a priority. (hence why she could put albums up so often and is hella slow now)

But she's happy and I'm happy for her.

The only people that know if shes truly happy is her mother, father, sister, team and fiance. Maybe she is happy maybe she's not. You can't tell if someone's happy just because they smile in events or in paparazzi candids. Hell you cant even take it straight from the horses mouth. If she is unhappy at the moment, she's obviously going to keep it confidential with just her family only and mask her sadness towards us and the general public since the media will start making up false headlines.

She's happy.  So many great things have been happening the past two years.  She got to collaborate with one of the legends she has admired since childhood (Tony).  She is popular with the public now and is invited to so many varied venues.  People now realize she is much more than just a pop star.  And people are finally starting to notice that she is a good person who cares about and supports so many good causes.  So many opportunities are now presented to her for the future.  These opportunities wouldn't come her way if she wasn't liked and talented.  Imo, she's at the top of the world right now.

Going by interviews, quotes, and her general demeanor, I'd say that she seems to be the most well-adjusted she's been since maybe, the beginning of The Fame era. She's not dressing chaotically either, which she has said is usually a symptom of her feeling some kind of inner restlessness.

Gaga has learned to surround herself with loyal, stable and supportive people. She has also spent time confronting and working on many issues that plagued her in the past and is taking steps to manage her depression. Also, she has made time to do artistic projects that she had been wanting to do for a while and ones that have challenged her. 

Gaga is certainly making healthy choices to be happy and looks to be more settled and grounded than she was in the past.

Mixed, I think. That Instagram post about how she had harmed her body, and how fame was done to her etc. makes me think she's conflicted about her position as a celebrity.

Exactly And this is quite, quite sad if you ask me... I remember when I thought she was the most honest pop star out there, now I'm never sure of the authenticity of her statements.

 

Edit: on-topic, I don't think she's that happy. Sure she's doing what she wants and all that, artistically, but I still believe inside of her there's a woman who wants to rule the world. That fierce woman was very close to it a few years ago, but not anymore. I'm sure she misses some of that power (if not, Lady Gaga indeed changed a lot).
