We have realize who owns the media outlets whether they are owned by the left or the right and take their findings and their opinions with a grain of salt. That's what I'm saying. All news either comes from the right or the left. All of it should be taken with a grain of salt. Go to the candidates websites and base your desicions on what their stances are not manipulated poll numbers or Op-Ed pieces. The NRA is very popular. 5,000,000 people are paying yearly fees to be NRA members. How many people don't pay the fees but still support the organization? And naturally a great majority of Americans believe in the right to keep and bear arms, although not always agreeing on what that means. The NRA does not "pay off" politicians, and according to polls, I'm correct. Roughly half of people have a favorable view of them. You probably spend too much time in places where people aren't fans of the NRA and it's skewed your perspective. Probably unaware the NRA also conducts a huge amount of gun safety training, traditional marksmanship competitions, etc, across the country. From Gallup, 2015: Despite Criticism, NRA Still Enjoys Majority Support in U.S. Despite a year of blistering criticism from gun control advocates about the National Rifle Association's hard-line stance against gun restrictions amid a spate of mass shootings nationwide, 58% in the U.S. have a favorable opinion of the NRA.
