Exactly. Just like the protest. :stalkga:

At least they're not excluding gay people in their own event as far as I can see.

That's why I said this one was less messy. The other one, the girls just seemed selfish and make it all them.

Lmao!

In Toronto? Black Lives Matter?

Tell me, how many black lives have been taken by police in Toronto this year? In the past 5 years? The past decade?

Delusional.

Countless incidents like this are why nobody takes the the black lives matter movement seriously - narcissists abusing the cause so they can try and put a spotlight on themselves.

Yes, black lives matter, but why hog the spotlight? LGBT needs to be protected also :wtf:

When you said "your kind" you know exactly what you meant. Then when you mistake one of the most marginalized races (More marginalized than the BLM cockcheeses claim to be) for the people you seem to have a vendetta against, you back-peddle and cover your ass. At least own up to your ****. :air:

Wrong.

There's mass amounts racism on GagaDaily so I'm pretty used to it by now so I am not shocked at all that you don't support an oppressed group. And the fact that you don't support an oppressed group that's a subsection of the LGBTQ community based on two events its sad. That's like not wanting to support LGBTQ Muslims because of the faux muslims and their terrorists attacks. But I am not surprised that you'd think Id bring race into this. Guilty conscience couture.

I'd like to know this as well. If anyone has more information about BLM movement in Canada, please share?

I did some searching and found this:

http://www.npr.org/sections/codeswitch/2015/08/07/427729459/heres-what-black-lives-matter-looks-like-in-canada

Spoiler

"The grassroots of Black Lives Matter Toronto initially sprang out in response to the November 2014 non-indictment of Darren Wilson, the Ferguson police officer who shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown. But the chapter really started picking up after the September 2014 killing of Jermaine Carby, who was shot in a vehicle by police in the nearby suburb of Brampton, Ontario after a heated exchange between police about his outstanding warrants during a traffic stop. Carby allegedly had a knife that wasn't located until "several hours later.'"

Spoiler

“I’ve had a cop throw me onto the hood of a car or tell me he’s going to break my jaw, just to see my ID,” said Mr. Marquez, a chef and a dancer who grew up in Toronto, Canada’s most populous city. Many of his friends have experienced similar treatment from the police, he said.

The street checks, called carding, were supposed to be colorblind, but Canadian studies have found that blacks are far more likely to be cardedthan whites. And Mr. Marquez said his mother had taught him early on that it could be dangerous to refuse. “Black parents’ biggest fear is their kid getting shot by a police officer,” he said.

It seems that Black people in Canada face similar issues with police, sadly.

It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences. - Audre Lorde

If the tables were turn, the media would be attacking us :crossed:

but let's not judge the whole blm movement just because a few people go over board. I'm sure we have plenty in our community.

We don't. BLM protestors consistently hijack gay pride events, even going so far as to hijack a vigil for the Orlando victims.

dear BLM supporters, please go f*ck off.
