Maybe I'm the one who is confused You originally wrote "Assimilation, the "key" to multiculturalism ... but is it really multiculturalism then?" As a reply to the latter half of your response, I wrote "I don't think so" meaning, no, I don't think its multiculturalism if everyone is assimilated So no, I don't agree with assimilation 'All our dreams can come true IF we have the courage to pursue them'-Walt Disney

Brian Ryan 1,468
I'm lost. Since there were black people who died in Orlando. Does those black and gay lives matter? I thought Canada was doing right about the black lives there. I haven't heard anything about blacks and police injustice there not saying it doesn't happen I'm sure. I thought it was US based. I'm glad it's worldwide. Any injustice should be fought anywhere at any time. I can say where they could call it a publicity stunt, well it is... BUT at the end of the day it's doing great wonders for the LGBT community. I understand why they went there, but they should have just stayed home. It was still great progress. The leaders aren't doing any effective job at tempering attitudes, and as far as I've seen many are turning a blind eye or even supporting the negativity. I never stated it hasn't done any good. They just have a certain zealotry that is disruptive and intrusive not seen among other groups. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.
zen 0
Ummm, I don't know if anyone noticed but the head of the brutal, evil, racist, police pigs putting down the righteous brothers and sisters ... is umm, kinda black. Not sure if that matters though.

If BLM wants to be taken seriously, they need to wipe this over zealous trash from their movement entirely. Otherwise, they're just another attention seeking group, imo. I was always on board with what they were trying to achieve until that woman had the audacity to hijack that Pulse vigil a few days ago and make it about her Sorry, call me racist all day long, but I'm done supporting this movement for now. Maybe they should try and accomplish something worthwhile instead of running around the USA and Canada throwing temper tantrum over everything.
