You say it like Gaga is a nobody and Glastonbury would save her from being anonymous and make ARTPOP go #1 :air: Stop being so negative, Gaga is still... Lady ****ing Gaga and being with Dalai Lama is a bigger honor than playing in any festival in the world

this.

these other stans are only scared of her fading away cos they see their other faves fading :tea:

you guys need to realize her star power is too great

She should have gone to Glastonbury.

What she did with the Dalai Lama just wasn't THAT important because it had no real effects, it was conversation that is about problems we are facing, but other than that, it was really nothing more.

In my opinion, she should have gone and do whatever she intended to do with Mark.

BUT if it was just like a thing where she would greet the audience or something like that, then no..

You can't tell it had no real effects. A room filled with influential people listened to what she had to say. It's too soon to tell if they act on it.

She's more than just a singer, so she has to balance her priorities and I think she did it right this time.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

Like I'm not mad but I'm not happy either. I've just sort of given up hope.

She could've done both. 2011 Gaga would've :)

Could she tho? I don't think it would be possible for her to be in the UK yesterday and in the US today in time for the conference

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

This is practically a once in a lifetime opportunity for her, I mean, which other pop star do you know has met with the Dalai Lama and speak at the U.S. Conference of Mayors?

Yeah, it's disappointing to know that he was going to attend Glastonbury, but LG5 will come, it's just a matter of when and really, I'm happy that she's doing things like this: spread some positivity, make changes in the world, be an activist.

This is why we love Gaga, she does the things that no one else would do and no one else would even think about doing. She's an actress, musician, activist, and so much more.

i can't imagine any other pop star—i hate using this term because it doesn't really cover the depths of her being—that is intelligent enough to be even considered to be there, that would be able to articulate her thoughts eloquently, and most of all, that would be taken seriously.

I highly doubt she would have played new music anyways. This project has been so under wraps and will have a very finely executed launch. She would have played a cover and everyone would be pissed

I really don't believe in this Glasto thing, that it was rumored she was going to be there, tbh. And if it was the case, I'm really glad she chose to go to the conference with Dalai Lama. I feel like she needed to spread her message and she did it wonderfully. Really happy she took this opportunity :nick:

What’s in a reverse-warholian expedition?

Possibly, but I still think lately she's been focusing to "side projects" way too much. She is definitely more than a singer and that's why I love her, but she is FIRSTLY a singer and I think she kinda forgot that..

You deserve an award. This is why a lot of monsters (including me) are getting mad at her. She forgot she's a singer.

No, firstly, she is a human, and doesn't have to appease anyone but herself.
