DiscoHeaven23 35,007
We all know that Cyndi Lauper has a song called "Girls Just Want To Have Fun", but some may not know that she did a remake of the song in 1994, that became quite successful across Europe in 1995 and was her first song to chart in the US since 1989. The song was called "Hey Now (Girls Just Want To Have Fun)" and the video featured drag queens. Which version do you like more?
Andrew Warhola 12,992
I honestly expected to see Miley Cyrus' version among the options she's a party girl with a bad habit for drugs

SKANK 14,288
You are missing a few. She did an EDM version, mashed with her song Set Your Heart. On her record The Body Acoustic she did a weird version featuring the J-Pop band Puffy AmiYumi The best version, in my opinion, is the one she has been doing recently. It's more Bluesy take on Girls, and it really show cases her voice.

Poissonche 12,365
How did I not know the remake existed? I prefer the original version of the song, but in the second video, I lost it at the nuns. The nunnery has its roots there
ChasingGhosts 726
The remake is my favourite. It suits her voice better in my opinion. Born This Way > Joanne > The Fame Monster > The Fame > ARTPOP

The version featuring Puffy AmiYumi was on her record The Body Acoustic, and she performed it to promote that record. For all intensive purposes it was a single. Boop.
