If so, share your thoughts! I'm reading it now, and it seems quite interesting.

Any similar recommendations?

I'm not sure if it's this book, but I can learn how to act more mysterious by just reading the book. For example in the part where the author says that Gaga mirrors her surroundings by acting how she thought you were. I think it's one of the best book about Gaga before she was famous.

I always hear about this book. The title sounds so intimidating. What is it exactly?

I've only read one Gaga book and it's Poker Face: The Rise and Rise of Lady Gaga by Maureen Something. It was pretty interesting. Also has some cool photos lel

So this is a novel style book about the pre-fame era!  Super interesting as it is told from the perspective of her friend/DJ.

But it's just about her right? I'd read it but I don't wanna read a tale about her DJ friend

So far it seems to be centered around his relationship with Gaga, as well as the lifestyle they were living.

I have not read any book directly about Gaga but I did read her favorite book that she was plugging in interviews during the fame era. Its called Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke.

She pretty much quotes or rather, she rephrases some of the words in this book. I can tell from earlier interviews that she got some of her views on art and the art process here. Her whole shpiel about the process of making art/poetry, the whole idea of being lonely in your art and being consumed by it is addressed in this short book. Certain parts of the book will feel familiar because you have heard Gaga mention it in an interview. It is also very enlightening most especially for aspiring artists.

If you haven't read it yet, go read it. It was her Fame era Bible. :hor:

I read and bought the book as well as the "Rise and Rise of Lady Gaga" by Maureen Callahan . I suggest you guys read his book, it's quite interesting and gives some Divine insight into the creation of songs from "The Fame", as well as BTS of how they created the "Just Dance" MV and how she got inspired by the book "The Secret" and how it inspired her "creative process" and view of art and reaching fame.
