Do you realize that exactly a century ago, a world war was happening? Millions dying every day? 62 million were dead only in the second world war. Sorry to say this, but relatively less things are wrong with the world now than before. Funny how things are so wrong with the world now that these events are happening in the US and EU, but the continuous war in the middle east and thousands of executions were like the regular thing. Now before someone quotes me with 'we're used to war in the middle east! The fact that its happening here is whats alarming!', that's still not an excuse for ignoring whats been happeneing before when trying to judge the state of the world. I agree with you, tbh. I've heard people say that "the world is worse now than it's ever been!" and I'm just wondering if they skipped learning about the holocaust and medieval ages.
