Sudarshana 581 Posted June 23, 2016 Share Posted June 23, 2016 banned or not, guns are strangely romanticized in the american culture, so that might be one of the reasons why people resort to shooting in times of crisis (not talking about terrorism but school shooting and such). for example, every time lana mentions in a song that her man or she has a gun, I'm always like “are you planning to kill somebody or is there any other use for fire-arms? ” I totally don’t understand why this culture is so attracted to guns. If people only realized that a president is mostly just a face for the house. If people only realized that shoving new laws down our throats will achieve absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. If we educated people about guns and the risks the way we did about smoking over the last ten years maybe using a gun for violence would feel as weird as lighting up a cigarette in a restaurant nowadays.
