Is Gaga bisexual?

In light of recent a statement made by Lady Gaga that raised a couple of questions, I decided to make this thread.

Lady Gaga at the Orlando Vigil

"[...] myself and so many are your allies."

Buzzfeed made an article about Gaga's "Moving Speech" (link below) and people were quick to point out that Gaga is not an ally but part of the LGBTQ community.

(For those of you who have been living under a rock, here's a video of Gaga talking about her sexuality)

Spoiler

But back to the buzzfeed article:

One comment even included a hashtag, that unfortunately never took off. (Not sure at whom it was directed though, since Gaga is the one who used the word "ally", in the first place)

The subject was also addressed by a member on this forum but as we do with controversial issues that threaten to trigger our cognitive dissonance, it was quickly swept under the rug :sis:  Some users ganged up on the member, because the comment was "out of place".  I partly agree, but it wasn't more inappropriate than some gifs I saw in that thread but apparently those aren't frowned upon.

Many people criticized her for exploiting the LGBT community, which I personally think is a ridiculous claim. But do you think Gaga would be capable of going to extremes to get rid of those accusations?

I personally believe people's sexuality can change, even though many consider it to be conflicting with the concept of "sexuality is not a choice". But it isn't and to use a more familiar example, it's not even contradictory to the message of "Born This Way".

What do you think? Why was Gaga's choice of words so tenous and strange? I'm interested in what you have to say.

Refrain from turning this thread into a cesspit with comments like "Lady Gaga is a character" or "this is just part of her David Bowie tribute".

I remember her vividly saying "we straights" during some BTWB date.

I don't really believe in the popular labels, so I don't really care, but I don't believe she'd ever have a relationship with a woman, and if I remember correctly she said she only ever fell in love with men when asked to explain her bisexuality.

Eh, I just wish she never said she was. I've never really been a fan of her usage of sexuality labels. Like when I heard her say "my Antwerp gays" at my show I was a little taken aback. I don't like that ****. And remember in 2009 or whatever when she said gay people understood her act because they thought all the wigs and costumes were beautiful rather than weird? I mean, gurl.

I suppose she could be a heteroromantic bisexual and because she's not aware of all the labels that are out there flying around sometimes she vacillates in how she refers to herself.

Sexual behavior doesn't determine sexual orientation. Your proclivity towards being attracted sexually towards a certain sex(es) determines it.

She's straight. All those bisexual comments were when she was legit starting out and very young, probably just curious.
