(e.g. "Bernie Sanders is the Jesus Christ of politics." "My uncle is the Donald Trump of this family" "Katy Perry is the McDonald's of the music industry") You mention that iconic name and people know exactly what you're describing. You don't even have to waste your breath on further adjectives. I typed the phrase "the Lady Gaga of" into Google and it turns out it's been used to describe several people and things (and I didn't even have to go beyond the 3rd page): I did the same for Rihanna and didn't get nearly as much I did the same for Katy Perry, and other than "Leonardo DiCaprio is the Katy Perry of the Oscars" and "Obama is the Katy Perry of politics", I got this line from a woman's blog post about bedheads: "And for the super thrifty, the washi tape one gets my vote. Not to mention it would be easy to change up as your whims dictate. And great for kids rooms. Washi: so fun, so versatile… it’s like the Katy Perry of tape" I did the same for Taylor Swift and she did turn up quite a few results, but the use of her name was less obvious, i.e. "Can Megyn Kelly Become the Taylor Swift of TV News?" "Why Quicken Loans is the Taylor Swift of the mortgage industry" "15 Signs You’re The Taylor Swift Of Your Friend Group" I did the same for Justin Bieber and he turned up quite a few results, though a lot of them used his name in a negative context.
