The big question this weekend in Chicago is how to turn the Bernie Sanders movement into a lasting element of Democratic politics. For some of the Sanders faithful on Saturday afternoon, the answer was locking arms on a civic center floor and struggling as “police officers” pulled them apart and “arrested” them.

The People’s Summit conference, sponsored by the National Nurses United — a progressive union that backed Sanders to the hilt during his run for president — is aimed at uniting all elements of progressivism into a single effort that exerts pressure on the Democratic Party and its presumptive presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton. Mourning Sanders’ loss and imagining what might have been was one part of the conversation.

Thousands of Sanders supporters have already signed a Facebook petition promising to protest the Democratic convention. Many of those gathered at The People’s Summit expected those protests to include police stepping in. Rumors of police efforts to push protests back from the convention site or other efforts by the authorities to quiet the Sanders uprising abounded in the training session.

well thats nice to see them practice to be well coordinated and not let it get too ugly. i'm absolutely fine with these people sticking to their principles. these arent hillary's people and they never will be. no one is obligated to pick the lesser of 2 evils, and if you stick to your principles and vote for a third party that is more to your liking, i respect that  .

After counts, Hillary gained around 500,000 votes and Sanders gained around 450,000 votes.

The percentages shifted from 55.8 and 43.3% of the total votes to 54.8 and 44.3% of the votes.

Call the corruption police. Going from a 13 point lead to an 11 point lead surely must be a sign of corruption as opposed to good old human error.

That graph and that video only show the Bernie gains, failing to show the Hillary gains and trying to imply that Bernie was somehow given the shaft when Hillary ended up getting more votes overall .

The graph also updates Bernie's percentages while failing to take into account Hillary's additional votes  

Why are you shocked that the Young Turks are continuing to press a delusional Bernie stance using biased information and angry fans to try to make a point? That video literally has zero facts that are relevant to what they are trying to prove  

Honestly @Bernie Sanders you're still very young so it's normal not to want to be wrong but you really need to get all the facts straight before eating up everything that confirms what you wish to be true.
