But this doesn't go for just the LGBTQ+ community, it's sad and sickening that any minority group would be targeted. My friend who identifies as bisexual was physically attacked by a gay guy because of the extreme biphobia within our community. We made a lot of progress, but we still have so much more to do. Like, I've never seen other group of minorities hate their own people because of who they are, except for the LGBT community. There are those who are closeted and jealous when they see other gay people living their lives happily without hiding, and there are openly gay people who hate bi or effeminate people.
