Wendy's off-point a bit here. Just because she didn't hear of Calvin until now doesn't make him unknown or uncool. She needs to do her research and find out that he had 2 US top tens of his own before he dated Taylor and wrote the mega hit of WFL for Rihanna as well as Where Have You Been. His name is even featured in the song's title, so I don't know how she hadn't heard of him before. And seriously, from a mom point of view, Taylor is the ideal girlfriend for your son? Her first celebrity relationship wasn't until 2008, yet she sings about break-ups on her 2006 debut when she was 16, so I'm willing to bet she dated 2-3 (possibly more) guys pre-fame. Taking her total up to about 10 at the very least and now Tom makes 11. For a woman of 26 to have had 11+ relationships is very eyebrow raising and suggests that she's the problem. It's not like we're slut shaming because we have no evidence that she slept with them all and she was in relationships with them all, they weren't one night stands. But that's partly it, they're full-blown relationships. For a 26 year old to have slept with 11+ people is a lot, but not so unusual these days. However, if it's one nighters we're talking about, well, that number is understandable. If people are supportive of one nighters, they can understandably notch up a fair amount because it only takes one night. That's why you might have heard people differentiate their totals from people they slept with as opposed to relationships and it's sometimes like: "Slept with? Over 20. Actual relationships? 3." Basically, they've slept with a lot, but the amount of one-to-one relationships are tiny, as such it should be, if you don't really do relationships. But Taylor actually DATED all these guys. To have 11+ relationships is very unusual and is a problem that needs to be addressed. Especially as, in Taylor's case, she claims to be in love with all of them despite the entire duration of the union lasting 3 months with the exception of Calvin. How does someone find the time and effort to have 11+ relationships by the age of 26? It's mind-blowing to me.
