In SC, Lindsey Graham is considered a nit-wit by most republicans, so there's considerable backlash to have him thrown out. BUT, we can't exactly blame these people for the shootings. Assault weapon or not, this guy was unhinged, and he would have killed with or without an assault rifle. Though, we can shift blame for so many deaths on them.
