Trump meeting with NRA to ban people on terror watch list from buying guns

Trump is calling for a ban on Muslims and to watch the ones already here more closely. He is already attacking the first and fourth amendment. But God forbid the second amendment one amendment is touched.

That's not "playing into it". The Democrats want to ban "assault weapons", people want to get those guns while they still can. Also, they can sell them to others who are in a rush for a quick profit, and there is the potential for them to rise even more in price if such a ban did happen, making it a good investment as well.

The Pulse shooter used a SIG Sauer MCX. And no, as I pointed out above, they aren't buying multiple rifles for protection.

Here in Florida, AR-15's (a.k.a. "America's Gun", the same gun used in the Pulse shooting) are flying off the shelves of local gun shops. There's no waiting period on them either and only a three day waiting period for handguns. It's absolutely insane. These people think they need a damn arsenal of assault rifles to protect themselves.

I do not feel safe with all these lunatics running around with weapons capable of mass homicide. I hope we're able to ban assault rifles soon...it's looking like at least something will happen this time.

God, how sick is that? "This time". It should've been dealt with the first time. Disgusting.

 

Bill Clinton signed a bill into law back in the 90's that did ban them, but of course when Bush got into office, him & the rest of the republicans let it expire!  Smdh 

And a lot of them stack up on guns &  ammunition like crazy, because they always think the government is coming to get their guns!!!  And even though that is completely 100% false, but even if it were true tho...  How are any of the 100's of guns that they have bought & stocked up on for all of their adult lives going to even remotely protect them from our government?  Which has air fighter planes, tanks, drones, nuclear weapons, submarines, etc. ??  They would all be TOAST before they could even unlock the safety mechanism on those damn guns!!

I'm not even going to comment the exotic laws that allow people in the US to have an arsenal for a small army in their houses, cause that's a different discussion, but like giving fire arms to potential terrorists, criminals and mentally ill people is just not normal... This is not hurting any rights this is just common sense like how you don't allow toddlers play with kitchen knives or let them drink bleach.

Yes! Even if you support guns with the argument of protection you can do that with a stupid handgun. Why should crazy people be allowed to have grenade launchers, flamethrowers and fully automatic riffles? It's ridiculous. What are you protecting yourself from - the zombie apocalypse?!
